Brand Guidelines

Everything you need to reference Scalar in your project, logos, wordmark, icon, and brand colors.


Naming

"Scalar" is a single word, always spelled with a capital S. It is the brand name of both our company and our platform, not "Scalar app" or "scalar.com". Refer to the platform as Scalar.

Individual products are proper nouns and should be capitalized when referred to by their full name: Scalar Docs, Scalar API References, Scalar Registry, Scalar SDKs, and Scalar API Client. When the context is already clear, the short form is fine (Docs, API References, Registry, SDKs, API Client).


Usage

Give our assets room to breathe. Scale them up or down, but never stretch, recolor, outline, rotate, or layer effects on top of them. Keep at least the height of the logomark as clear space on every side so the mark stands on its own.

These graphics are proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws. Please do not alter the files, imply a relationship, affiliation, or endorsement by Scalar, or combine them with other marks without written consent. Have a question or need custom assets? Get in touch.


Wordmark

Prefer the Scalar wordmark whenever space allows. Monochrome usage is preferred, use the dark version on light surfaces and the light version on dark surfaces.

Logomark

Use the logomark for tight layouts, logo-only grids, or places where text alongside the mark would feel cramped. The wordmark carries stronger brand recognition, so reach for it first when you have the room.

Colors

Scalar is built around a high-contrast monochrome palette that works on both light and dark surfaces. Our product accents add color when there's a reason to, per product, per state, per moment. Click any hex value to copy it.
